What’s the difference between a front-only and a front-and-return shower screen?
A front-only screen runs wall to wall across a single opening, suited to a straight recess. A front-and-return screen adds a side panel to close off a corner, creating a full enclosure from two walls and two glass panels, and installs directly onto tiles rather than a shower base.
What glass do AROVA shower screens use?
10mm Grade A toughened safety glass, compliant with AS/NZS 2208:1996.
Can AROVA shower screens be installed on either side?
Yes, AROVA screens are reversible for left-hand or right-hand installation, subject to the screen type and site conditions.
Will a shower screen stop all the water?
Not entirely. Walk-in screens have an open entry, so some water may splash into the surrounding area. Wall-to-wall and corner screens contain splashes better, with door panels including a bottom sweep and an optional water seal bar for extra protection.
How do I keep a glass shower screen looking clean?
AROVA glass features an easy-clean nano coating that helps reduce watermarks, soap residue and grime. Wipe down with a squeegee or soft microfibre cloth after each shower and clean regularly with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner, avoiding harsh chemicals and abrasive pads.
Does AROVA install shower screens?
No, AROVA supplies the shower screen itself rather than an installation service, so it’s worth lining up a licensed glazier or builder before your screen arrives.
Do AROVA shower screens come with a warranty?
Yes, a five-year warranty covers the glass and supplied hardware, subject to the applicable terms and exclusions. Check the individual product page for exact coverage.
