Choosing a Frameless Walk-In Shower Screen
Walk-in screens keep the look open and bright. A fixed glass panel stands beside the shower, and the entry stays free of doors, which suits compact ensuites and spacious open showers alike. Here's what you need to know before you order.
Choose Your Width
The range is a single 2100mm tall set with 13 width options from 750mm to 1500mm. Order your width, then choose wall clips or a U channel and a hardware colour. We recommend:
- Compact ensuites: 750mm to 900mm
- Standard showers: 950mm to 1200mm
- Larger open showers: 1300mm to 1500mm
Wider panels give more cover between the showerhead and the entry. An open entry still lets some water splash onto the surrounding floor. If you want fuller containment, compare our wall-to-wall and corner screens, which include a door.
Glass and Hardware
The panel is solid 10mm toughened safety glass, certified to AS/NZS 2208 under the Australian Standard Mark. Both sides have an easy-clean nano coating that helps reduce water marks and soap residue. The frameless profile suits a wide range of tiles, tapware and hardware finishes.
Hardware is solid brass in Chrome, Matte Black, Brushed Nickel, Brushed Gold or Gunmetal, so you can coordinate it with your tapware. The screen installs left- or right-hand, and a 5-year warranty covers the glass and supplied hardware.
Care, Delivery and Installation
Wipe the glass with a squeegee or microfibre cloth after each shower and use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. AROVA supplies the screen only, so we recommend booking a licensed glazier or builder before delivery arrives. Delivery is available to most Melbourne Metro suburbs, and pick-up is free from Mulgrave, Thomastown and Sunshine West.
